The applicants/petitioners are seeking directions against the respondent nos.1 to 4 to immediately release the salary of the petitioners w.e.f. 27.09.2021 till date and to continue to pay the regular salary during the pendency of the present writ petition.

By way of Government Resolution (GR) dated 29.04.2017, a decision has been taken by the Government to pay salary to the surplus teachers till they are absorbed. 3.

In the light of the above, since the decision has been taken by the Department at its own level, there is no reason why the civil application should not be allowed. Accordingly, the civil application is allowed. 4.

The respondent nos.1 to 4 are directed to confer the benefits of the GR dated 29.04.2017 to the

The civil application is disposed of.
