Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard finally with the consent of the learned Counsel for the respective parties. 2.
The petitioner inter alia seeks a direction to the respondents to decide the proposals, dated 08/03/2022 and 01/07/2024 in a time bound manner and to make payment of salary to the petitioner.

The facts giving rise to filing of the present petition briefly stated are that the petitioner is employed as an Assistant Professor and was appointed on 30/09/1999 in the College run by Mauli Shikshan Prasarak Mandal under the name and style of Bhagwanbaba Kala Mahavidyalaya, Sindhkhed Raja, District : Buldhana.

The petitioner was getting higher salary and the salary to the post was paid belatedly. Therefore, the petitioner approached this Court by filing Writ Petition No.4669/2013, which was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 23/11/2015 and a direction was issued that the period, for which the petitioner was out of service, be treated for consideration of payment of salary. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the orders passed by this Court, the payment of salary due to the petitioner has not been paid. Hence, this petition.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the College has submitted the proposals on 08/03/2022 and 01/07/2024, in which a direction has been sought with regard to the payment of difference of salary.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 - Joint Director of Higher Education, Amravati Division, Amravati to decide the aforesaid proposals in a time bound manner. 7.
On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent No.1, on instructions, submits that the proposals shall be taken and decided within such time limit, as prescribed by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.1 - Joint Director of Higher Education to consider and decide the proposals submitted by Bhagwanbaba Kala Mahavidyalaya, Sindhkhed Raja, District : Buldhana, within a period of four weeks from today. 9.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the claim of the petitioner. 10.
Rule is made absolute in the above terms. No order as to costs.
