By the order dated 12/06/2023 the statement made in the affidavit filed on behalf of respondent No.2 that it was willing to acquire petitioner's land in accordance with law was recorded. Today affidavit is filed on behalf of the petitioner through its Power of Attorney holder that the Society is also willing to have the land acquired in accordance with law. 3.

In view of aforesaid, it would be open for respondent Nos.2 to 5 to take necessary steps to acquire the petitioner's land in accordance with the provisions of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. After complying with all statutory requirements, it is expected that the acquisition proceedings would be concluded expeditiously.
