The respondent No.5 has filed an affidavit-in-reply dated 15th October, 2025. Paragraph 5 of the same reads thus : "5.

Without prejudice to the aforesaid facts, contentions, and legal objections raised in the reply, and solely in the interest of fairness and transparency, the Respondent No.5 respectfully submits that it is willing to forward the petitioner's proposal for appointment to the post of Superintendent to the office of Respondent No.4 - District Social Welfare Officer - for scrutiny, verification of eligibility, and appropriate decision in accordance with rules and procedures."

Since the respondent No.5 is willing to forward the petitioner's proposal for appointment to the post of Superintendent to the office of respondent No.4-District Social Welfare Officer, we are of the opinion that this petition can be disposed of with the direction to the respondent No.5 to forward such proposal within two weeks from today and with the further direction to the respondent No.4 to take necessary decision on such proposal in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of submission of such proposal from the respondent No.5.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court afresh if such occasion arises. No costs.
