The Applicant herein has sought withdrawal of the amount deposited by the Appellant - Acquiring Body as per the impugned judgment and award passed by the Reference Court in L.A.C. No.159/2010.

The Reference Court has enhanced the compensation to Rs.2,50,000/- per hectare. The amount enhanced by the Reference Court does not exceed four times the amount determined by the Land Acquisition Officer. Considering the said fact, the respondent No.1 is permitted to withdraw the amount deposited by the Appellant - Acquiring Body, with interest accrued thereon. The civil application stands disposed of.
