Heard Mr. M. Anilkumar, the learned advocate for the petitioner and Mr. J.B. Kasat, the learned advocate for the respondent No.1 and Ms M.N. Hiwase, the learned A.G.P. for the respondent No.2.
The petitioner has challenged the decision of the respondent No.1/Appropriate Authority suspending her registration under the provisions of Section 20 of the Preconception and Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Selection) Act, 1994 and the order passed by the respondent No.2 dismissing the appeal filed by the petitioner.
Mr.Kasat, the learned advocate for the respondent No.1 states that the registration of the petitioner was till 2014 and as the period of registration is over the decision of the respondent No.1-Appropriate Authority, suspending the registration, automatically comes to an end.
Accepting the submission made on behalf of the respondent No.1, nothing survives in the petition. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
