DATE : 07.09.2015 By this petition, the petitioner has sought a direction the State Government to consider and grant approval for extension of the age of superannuation of the petitioner from 60 to 62 years. Shri Fulzele, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State Government has tendered an order dated 3.9.2015 in the Court today. It is stated that by the said order the State Government has accepted the proposal for extension of the age of superannuation in respect of the petitioner and the petitioner would now superannuate on 31.01.2017. It is stated that in view of the subsequent development mentioned hereinabove, the grievance of the petitioner would stand redressed. The learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed as the petitioner was permitted to work on the post of Professor in view of the interim

0709wp189.15.odt relief and in view of the order dated 3.9.2015 the petitioner would be entitled to all the monetary benefits.

Since the purpose of filing the writ petition stands served in view of the order dated 3.9.2015, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to release the salary of the petitioner for the extended period during which he has worked as early as possible and positively within a period of two months. Order accordingly. No costs.
