This application is filed for condonation of delay of 59 days in filing appeal against judgment dated 15/9/2016 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge-3, Nagpur in Special (POCSO) Case No.150/2015 whereby applicant came to be convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376(2)(n) of Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for ten years and to pay fine of Rs.25,000/-, in default to suffer rigorous imprisonment for six months. He is also convicted and sentenced for the offences punishable under Sections 4, 6 and 10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
For the grounds mentioned in the criminal application, delay caused is condoned. The criminal application is allowed.
