The petitioner has sought a limited relief for a direction to the respondent no.1 to take a decision on the proposal submitted by the petitioner within the stipulated time. Mr. A.M. Deshpande, learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent nos. 1 & 2, has placed on record a communication addressed by the Desk Officer of the Revenue & Forest Department. It is stated that vide the said communication, two months' time is sought for deciding the representation.
The petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1 to decide the proposal given by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of two months from today.
