DATED : JANUARY 16, 2018 Heard Mrs. N. P. Hiwase, Advocate for applicants and Mr. N. Rao, A.P.P. for non applicant no.1-State. An application for discharge was rejected by the learned trial Court. The applicants are before this Court challenging the said order by which the learned Sessions Court has refused to discharge the applicants of an offence punishable under Sections 306, 498-A read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The present applicants are husband and in laws of the deceased who poured Kerosene on her person and set her ablaze.

Mrs. Hiwase, learned counsel for the applicants submitted that the charge is already framed and the trial is fixed from 18.01.2018.

In view of the said statement and looking to the nature of accusations made against the applicants, no case is made out for discharge. The application is rejected. JUDGE kahale
