Khati, counsel for the petitioners, Shri N.R. Patil, AGP for the respondent nos.1 and 2. ..........

CORAM : SMT. VASANTI A. NAIK AND V.M. DESHPANDE, JJ.

DATED : MARCH 17, 2016.

The only prayer made by the petitioners is for the direction to the respondent no.3 to decide the representations made by the petitioners for grant of deemed date promotion. It is stated that though the representations are made by the petitioners since the year 2013, the respondent no.3 has not decided the same.

None appears on behalf of the respondent no.3 though served. Since the prayer made by the petitioners is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.3 to decide the representations of the petitioners, as early as possible and positively within a period of four months.

Order accordingly. No costs.

JUDGE JUDGE Gulande
