The appeal is filed by the original claimant challenging judgment and award dated 31.10.2007 passed in Claim Petition No.1126/2000. The appeal is of the year 2008. About more than 20 years have passed after filing the Claim Petition and the accident in question has taken place on 02.09.1997. The learned Advocate for the respondents have no objection if the hearing of the First Appeal is expedited and for assigning fixed date for hearing.
