OCTOBER 13, 2025 1) The petitioner has challenged the order dated 23/11/2021 passed by respondent No.1 - the Divisional Joint Registrar Co-operative Societies, Nagpur and the order dated 18/06/2024 passed by respondent No.2 Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies, whereby the proceedings were initiated under Section 104 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 for liquidation.

2) Admittedly, after perusal of the record, I find that while passing the order under Section 102(1) of the aforesaid Act, no notice was given to the petitioner. Therefore, on this ground alone, both the orders are liable to be set aside. 3) In view thereof, the petition is partly allowed. The order dated 23/11/2021 passed by respondent No.1 - the Divisional Joint Registrar Co-operative Societies, Nagpur and the order dated 18/06/2024 passed by respondent No.2 Deputy Registrar Co-operative Societies, are hereby quashed and set aside.
