By this application, applicant has prayed for extension of interim protection granted by this Court dated 30.12.2016 for further period of two weeks contending that the High Court of Punjab and Haryana reopened after Winter Vacation on 9.1.2017. However, the matter is not listed in the first week after reopening and has thus contended that interim protection granted be extended for a period of two weeks so that applicant will take necessary steps for hearing of anticipatory bail before the said Court.

It appears that by order dated 30.12.2016 passed by this Court, applicant is protected from his arrest which protection was valid till today that is 16.1.2017.

For the grounds raised in the application, .....2/-

the same is thus liable to be allowed.

Interim protection in force to continue for a period of two weeks from today.

The application stands disposed of as allowed.
