Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith and heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The services of the petitioner who was appointed as Subject Expert on contractual basis came to be terminated on 14/02/2022 on the ground that there was violation of Clause 53 of the Maharashtra Prathmik Shikshan Parishad Services Regulation 1994. Against the order of termination dated 14/02/2022, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the respondent No.1. The only relief sought in the writ petition is for expeditious adjudication of the said appeal.

Considering the aforesaid, the respondent No.1 is directed to decide the petitioner's appeal preferred for challenging the order of termination dated 14/02/2022 expeditiously after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

To enable consideration of the said appeal, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent No.1 on 11/09/2023. The appeal be decided within a period of eight weeks from that date.

Keeping all points raised open, the writ petition is disposed of. Rule accordingly. No costs.
