DATED : 02-07 -2024 Learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner has been reinstated as Assistant Teacher. He has invited my attention to the order passed by the Supreme Court dated 11-1-2024 in Civil Appeal No. 7018/2021 (Avatar Meharbaba Shikshan Sanstha Arvi (Chhotti) and anr. Vs. Manisha and ors.). Paragraph No. 7 of said order reads thus :

"7.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we are not inclined to interfere in the impugned judgment, which is accordingly upheld. The services of the respondent no. 1 on the post of Assistant Teacher is accordingly restored w.e.f. 11th May, 2017. There shall be no break in her service and she shall be entitled to all the benefits at par with other similarly engaged Assistant Teachers, on the same scale of pay upon release of grant-in-aid by the State Government in favour of the appellant no. 2, from the same date as granted to the other teachers."

Learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2 submits that the bills for payment of salary will be furnished with Respondent no. 3 - Education Officer within ten days from today.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the bills/proposal so received shall be processed as expeditiously as possible.

Let the management submit bills within ten days from today and the Education Department shall, in turn, process the same expeditiously and, in any case, shall release the grant-in-aid in favour of the school, viz. Swargiya Indira Gandhi Vidyalaya, Hinganghat, Tahsil Hinganghat, District Wardha within three months from the date of receipt of bill/proposal. The payment thereafter be released in favour of the petitioner - Manisha Rajendra Kamble within fifteen days.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the purpose of the petition has been served for now and is not pressing for any order at this stage. He seeks liberty to approach, if the order passed today is not complied. Such liberty is not required. Hopefully, the petitioner will not be required to approach this Court again.

With the above observations and order, the contempt petition is disposed of.
