The prayer of the petitioners is for direction to the respondent no.1 to decide the application for grant of stay filed by the petitioners in an appeal filed under Section 152 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Society Act. 2.

The amendment granted to the bylaws is the subject matter of challenge before the State Government to an appeal, which is informed to be pending on the file of Hon'ble Minister.

It is claimed that in the said Appeal No.678/2023, the petitioner has already moved an application for stay, which is yet to be decided. 4.

The Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, from the State Government informs that the appeal and stay application preferred by the petitioners shall be decided within four weeks from today. The statement is made on instructions. 5.

As such, we dispose of the petition, with a direction to respondent no.1 to decide the application for stay of the petitioners expeditiously and in any case within a period of four weeks from today. So also hearing of the appeal is expedited. (ABHAY J. MANTRI, J.) (NITIN W. SAMBRE, J.) Ambulkar
