IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

NAGPUR BENCH, NAGPUR.

Vs.

The Range Forest Officer, Nagpur.

and Registrar's Orders.

CORAM : B.P. DHARMADHIKARI & P.N. DESHMUKH, JJ.

DATE : 28th April, 2016.

Nobody for parties.

We find that prayer in the petition is to declare detention of goods "mulethi" as illegal on the ground that it is not a forest produce. This court has after hearing respective counsel on 29.3.2005 while issuing rule directed the respondents to release the said produce to petitioner prima facie holding that it is not the forest produce.

The petitioner was directed to report at the office of RFO, Nagpur on 30.3.2005 to take delivery and respondent was also warned that failure to comply would be contempt.

It is, therefore, obvious that petitioner has lost interest in the matter.

wp996-05 We therefore, dismiss writ petition for want of prosecution. No costs.
