The petitioner has approached the learned Central Administrative Tribunal through original application contending therein that he was discriminated in the matter of seniority and promotion as against the respondent Nos. 3 and 4.

The learned Tribunal has considered the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner in paragraph no.4 of the impugned order. It has been found that when the petitioner was initially appointed as Casual Labour, respondent no.4 was already appointed in the cadre of TRS Khalasi. It has been further found that the petitioner was appointed as TRS Khalasi on regular basis from 4.7.1997. Insofar as the respondent no.3 is concerned, it was found that respondent no.3 was appointed as a Casual Labour Khalasi in the year 1993. It was found that he being an ITI qualified MRCL, he was screened along with similarly placed persons and he was found suitable and posted as TRS Khalasi on 21.10.1995 and thereafter he got his promotion as Fitter Grade III/Grade II in his turn. The learned Tribunal,
therefore, found that the contention of the petitioner that he was discriminated in the matter of seniority promotion as against respondent nos. 3 and 4 was devoid of substance.

No error is found in the impugned order. Writ petition is rejected.
