Perusal of the election programme dated 21st December, 2023 depicts that the only stage remained in the election process is that of voting, which is scheduled on 21st January, 2024 and the declaration of result. 3.

In case, if the prayer of the petitioners is considered and granted, same amounts to interference in the election process which, in any case, is not permissible in view of the constitutional mandate.

That being so, the petition lacks merit and stands dismissed.

Liberty to the petitioners to take recourse to alternate remedy for raising of election dispute before the competent authority.
