In view of the fact that the petitioner has not applied for grant of furlough leave within a period of one year, we make the following order.

O R D E R

Criminal Writ Petition No.53 of 2015 is disposed of and the respondent-competent authority is directed to consider the application dated 30/10/2014 by treating the same as a fresh application, upon expiry of a period of one year from the date of availing of earlier furlough leave.

The fees payable to the learned Counsel appointed for the petitioner is quantified at Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only).
