Pursuant to the order dated 02.02.2022, the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Buldana is present in Court today. On instructions Shri N.S. Warulkar, learned counsel for the respondent no.3 submits that a cheque for an amount of Rs.62,802/- has been handed over to the petitioner and the same has been acknowledged by the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of aforesaid, the directions issued on 05.01.2022 in this contempt petition stand complied with. We also find that the directions that were issued in Writ Petition Nos.2776 of 2002 and 4482 of 2002 also stand complied with. It is however clarified that if the petitioner is not satisfied with the grant of interest at the rate of 5.75%, he is free to take such steps as are permissible in law to claim relief on the basis of higher rate of interest. The contempt petition is disposed of.
