The learned counsel for the petitioner states that during the pendency of the present petition, the rice involved in the matter has already been sold by the Authority, and therefore, the only question remains is whether the petitioner is entitled to receive the amount, which will be subject to the result of the proceedings before the learned trial court.

In view of the above referred facts, the petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, it is disposed of without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner to receive the amount towards the rice seized and sold out, if the petitioner succeeds.
