The Assistant Government Pleader is seeking time as instructions are still awaited. However, it is not in dispute that the reference moved by the petitioner in terms of Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 is pending. The petitioner seeks its early disposal. 2.

The reference is pending since July, 2017. Hence, we direct the respondent No.1-Collector to take suitable decision on that request within eight weeks from today. With these directions, we partly allow this writ petition and dispose it of. No costs.
