Perused the joint praecipe dated 20.06.2018.

2] The cheque deposited in this Court could not be deposited in the Bank for encashment for some reason. Be that as it may, the applicant is handing over cheque for Rs.1,00,000/- to the learned counsel for the non-applicant today in the Court.

3] In view of the settlement, the parties are permitted to compound the offence. The accused is acquitted.

4] The complainant is put on notice that if the cheque which is handed over in Court today is not honoured for any reason, serious note shall be taken by this Court and action under the Contempt of Courts Act may be considered.
