The prayer is for issuance of directions to the respondents. 3.

The challenge is to the impugned order dated September 23, 2022, whereby the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, 2005 was informed by the Information Officer that his claim for grant of compassionate appointment cannot be considered in view of the mandate provided under the Circular dated October 21, 2011. 4.

It is the case of the petitioner that a subsequent Circular issued by the respondent No.1-State Government on February 26, 2014 squarely covers the case of the petitioner. According to the petitioner, the direction

2 WP-6612-2024.odt needs to be issued to the respondents to consider his claim based on the Government Resolutions dated October 21, 2011 and February 26, 2014. 5.

Shri Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent No.1-State, submits that the Court may pass an appropriate order in this behalf.

In this view of the matter, we permit the petitioner to make an appropriate representation based on the Government Resolutions dated October 21, 2011 and February 26, 2014 to the respondent No.2Municipal Corporation, Amravati within a period of four weeks from today. Let the said representation be decided by the respondent No.2Municipal Corporation within a period of twelve weeks from the date of such representation being received by it. We expect the respondent No.2 to communicate its decision to the petitioner within the said period. 7.
