The learned Advocate for the applicant submits that in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Kamatchi .v/s. Lakshmi Narayanan, reported in, AIR 2022 SC 2932 and the Judgment of Full Bench of Madras High Court in the case of Arun Daniel and ors .v/s. Suganya, reported in, 2022 SCC OnLine Mad 5435, this application may not be maintainable. He, therefore, seeks leave to withdraw the same.

The criminal application stands disposed of, as withdrawn.

Liberty is always available to the applicant to take recourse to the available legal remedy. This Court has not considered the matter on merit.
