By this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the order of the respondents, dated 19/09/2015 directing the recovery of excess amount paid to the petitioner.

The respondents have filed an affidavit-in-reply. It is stated in the affidavit-in-reply that while fixing the pension as per the recommendations of Sixth Pay Commission, the error that had cropped up in the order is rectified and the respondents would not be recovering any amount from the petitioners. It is stated that the impugned order would not be given effect to.

In view of the statement made in the affidavit-in-reply, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. The writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
