I was not inclined to grant bail, at this stage. 2.

The learned counsel for the applicant Mr. Chavan submits that instead of passing an elaborate order the application may be dismissed as withdrawn and the trial may be expedited. The further submission is that if there is no significant progress in the trial for the next six months, the applicant may be permitted to approach the Special Judge for bail.

The submission is reasonable.

The application is dismissed as withdrawn.

The learned trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and to conclude the same, as far as possible, within

The learned trial Judge shall frame the charge within the next thirty days.

If there is no significant progress in the trial in six months, after the framing of the charge, the applicant is at liberty to apply for bail afresh, before the learned Special Judge.

The registry shall ensure that copy of this order is brought to the notice of the trial Court within the next seven days.
