This Petition is filed for a direction to the Respondent No. 3 - Chief Officer to decide the representation of the Petitioner dated 18 August 2020 in respect of grant of pensionary benefits. Immediately upon making the representation, the Petition is moved within four months thereof.

We do not find that the delay in deciding the representation is so gross and unreasonable so as to warrant issuance of Writ of Mandamus. The matter can be looked at administratively. We direct the Respondent No. 2 - Secretary to look into grievance regarding non-disposal of the representation by the Respondent No. 3 - Chief Officer and to issue SMGate
