Thakkar, Advocate for the petitioners. Shri A.M. Balpande, A.G.P. for respondent No.1. CORAM : Z.A. HAQ, J.

DATE : 16.2.2018.

Though the Advocate for the petitioners has submitted that the alternate remedy provided under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 is not efficacious, the petitioners have not been able to point out how the statutory remedy cannot be said to be efficacious.

As alternate statutory remedy is available to the petitioners, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. The writ petition is disposed with liberty to the petitioners to avail alternate remedy as per law, if so advised. No costs.

JUDGE Tambaskar.
