We have perused the material on record.

Considering that the challenge is to the charge-sheet which is filed way back on 28.05.2018, and the trial is fixed for recording evidence, we see no reason to interfere in exercise of jurisdiction under section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

However, considering that the applicant is a government servant and is working with the Naval Dockyard at Mumbai, and the attending circumstances including the inter se relationship, we deem it expedient to direct an early trial.
