We set aside the impugned order and permit the petitioners to appear before the respondent no.4 along with the copy of judgment in the matter of Rameshbhai Dabhai Naika Vs. State of Gujarat and others reported in [2012(2) SCR 104]. The said authority shall decide the claim for issuance of caste validity certificate afresh within a period of two weeks from the date of appearance.

The petitioners undertake to appear on 25th March, 2025 before the respondent no.4.
