25/01/ 1] By this application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the accused (applicant nos. 1 to 6) and Informant (applicant no. 7) pray that the first information report registered against the applicant nos. 1 to 6 on the report lodged by the applicant no. 7 with the nonapplicant no. 1 - Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 149, 353, 323, 325, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 4 and 25 of the Arms Act and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act be quashed. 2] According to the applicants, they have amicably worked out the matter. The fact remains that the injured (victim) is not before this Court as applicant and he is impleaded as the non-applicant no. 2.

3] On query, learned advocate for the applicants - accused submitted that presently there is no settlement with ANSARI

apl128.21 the non-applicant no. 2 however, the applicants - accused would try to work it out with the non-applicant no. 2 also. 4] In the facts of the case, we are not inclined to show any indulgence under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure at this stage, however, the applicants - accused will be at liberty to file appropriate application before appropriate forum if there is any settlement between the accused and the victim.
