1] This matter was heard for some time on 27.1.2020 and was posted today for passing orders. 2] The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits on instructions that he would deposit the amount as directed by the Sub-Divisional Officer in his pending appeal proceedings. It is requested that the S.D.O., Kelapur, Taluka Kelapur, Dist. Yavatmal should decide the proceedings initiated by the petitioner, expeditiously.

3] In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. The petitioner would deposit the amount, as directed, before the S.D.O., Kelapur on or before 10.2.2020.

4] The petitioner would appear before the said Authority on 10.2.2020 at 3:00 p.m. and would abide by the dates of hearing on which the matter is posted by the said Authority. It is expected that the S.D.O., Kelapur

2 wp546.2020 would decide the proceedings as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 30.4.2020. If the petitioner is held liable to pay the penalty amount, the amount deposited would be adjusted and if it is held that he is not liable, any excess amount deposited by him would be refunded.
