After hearing the learned counsel Mr. S. K. Patil for the petitioner, I passed the following order on 14.03.2022:
Prima facie I am not inclined to entertain the petition.

The termination is not stigmatic. Ample opportunities were given to the petitioner - teacher to acquire the eligibility qualification of D.Ed. The petitioner gave an undertaking dated 0-1-2018 to acquire the eligibility qualification on or before 28-2-2019, which was the last date stipulated.

However, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would seek instructions from the petitioner whether he has, as a fact, acquired the D.Ed.
Qualification.

Only to enable the learned counsel for the petitioner to obtain instructions on the said aspect, stand over to 16-3-2022.

The State Government granted ample opportunity to the petitioner and similarly situated teachers to obtain the eligibility qualification of D.Ed. Finally, the government fixed 28.02.2019 as the last date for acquiring the said qualification. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states, that the petitioner has not acquired the qualification D.Ed. till date.

The petition is dismissed.
