The applicant is the original accused, who stood prosecuted in Sessions Trial No.435/2021 before the learned District Judge and Additional Sessions Judge at Nagpur, for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and by judgment dated 22-12-2022 he has been held guilty, and has been sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for life. The applicant wants to challenge the said conviction.

Heard learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP.

It appears that the accused is in custody throughout the trial. It appears that he was informed about the right to appeal. It appears that he contacted to the Legal Aid Department of this Court

For the reasons stated in the application, the delay stands condoned. Application stands allowed and disposed of. 7.
