Heard.

The applicant, apprehending arrest in crime registered against him for the offence punishable under Sections 65(e) and Section 77 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, has sought pre-arrest bail. In the reply filed by the investigating agency it is stated that the applicant is habitual offender and to substantiate this the chart showing the details of the crimes registered against the applicant is filed. The chart shows that 14 crimes are registered against the applicant with police station Gondia since 2002 out of which he is acquitted in 6 cases and 2 cases have been closed. The other cases are still pending. In addition, 2 crimes are registered against the applicant by the prohibition department. Further, 2 offences are registered against the applicant with police station Gondia City and one crime is registered against

2 aba43.17 the applicant with police station Deori.

Considering the facts on record I am not inclined to grant the prayer made in the application. The application is dismissed.

The applicant has enjoyed interim protection granted by this Court by order dated 6th February, 2017. The applicant shall surrender within one week, failing which the note of conduct of the applicant should be taken at all stages of the matter.
