The application is for grant of bail.

After hearing the learned Counsel for the applicant to some extent and after going through the investigation papers, it reveals that a mentally retarded woman was subjected for sexual assault and there are independent witnesses to show the association of the present applicant with the victim on the day of the incident. A prima facie case is made out against the present applicant. Learned Counsel for the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the application with liberty to file if there is no progress in the trial.

The application is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.

The learned trial Court shall expedite the trial.
