DATE : 27.04.2017 The learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to delete prayer clause (1) and restrict the prayer made in the petition in respect of prayer clause (2) only. Permission is granted. The amendment should be carried out forthwith.

Since the only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction against the respondent no.4 - Education Officer to consider granting approval to the appointment of the petitioner on the post of Assistant Teacher w.e.f. 18.10.2014 and since the prayer is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction against the respondent no.4 to decide the proposal of the petitioner, if not decided, as early as possible and positively within three months.

Order accordingly. No costs.
