The petitioner-Association through its Joint Secretary alleges non-compliance of the order dated 29th July, 1991 passed in Writ Petition No. 847 of 1986. The record indicates that after the contempt petition was admitted on 4th December, 1991 it has not been placed for hearing before the Court after 23rd September, 1993. Shri C.S. Dharmadhikari, learned counsel for the respondent No.1 submits that he has no instructions in the matter. He further submits that Shri S.P. Hedaoo, learned counsel for the petitioner has informed him that he too had returned the case papers to the Association.

We find that after the reply was filed by the respondent No.1 in the contempt petition taking the stand that the order passed by this Court had been complied with
904 cp204.91.odt there is no further affidavit by the Association to counter the same. It appears that with passage of time of more than nineteen years the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the present proceedings and its the grievance appears to have been redressed. It is therefore not found necessary to keep the contempt petition pending and the same is accordingly disposed of.

The Registrar (Judicial) to look into the matter as to why the contempt petition was not listed before the Court after 23 rd September, 1993 and Report in that regard be submitted. The report and the record of the case be thereafter placed before the Hon'ble Senior Administrative Judge for perusal.
