This Petition is filed for a direction to the Respondent - Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the Petitioner within a specific period. The challenge is also raised to the communication dated 11 January 2021 issued by the employer of the Petitioner that if the Validity Certificate is not granted, Petitioner's services will be terminated. It appears to us that the communication dated 11 January 2021 proceeds on misreading of the order passed by this Court. This Court while directing in Writ Petition No.1882/2017 on 23 July 2019, had remitted the matter back to the Committee for verification and directed the Committee to decide the matter within a period of six months. However, the directions for protection of the services of the Petitioner was not restricted to six months, but was to operate till the decision of the Scrutiny Committee. The Petitioner, however, has not drawn the attention of the Respondent - Employer to this part of the order while making a written communication. We also take note of the statement made by the learned AGP for the Respondent No.1 that the proceedings before the Scrutiny Committee is finally heard and the orders are awaited.

Granting liberty to the Petitioner to inform the employer and to apprise it of the order passed on 23 July 2019, we dispose of the Petition.
