DATE : 12.3.2018 1] Petitioner has approached this Court, contending that Respondent No.2, who was Respondent No.4 in the original Petition, has committed contempt by disobeying the order passed by this Court dated 20/06/2017.

2] Perusal of the Order dated 20/06/2017, would reveal that the only direction that was given by this Court to Respondent No.4 in the original petition was to decide the representation of the Petitioner.

3] The representation of the Petitioner has already been decided on 18th August, 2017 i.e.

58-CP-23-2018 2/2 after about a period of two months from the date of the said order passed by this Court.

4] We therefore see no merit in the Contempt Petition. If it is the case of the Petitioner that the order passed by Respondent No.2 is not correct in law, the remedy is by way of challenging it before the appropriate forum and not by way of Contempt Petition. Hence, Contempt Petition is rejected.
