Since respondent Nos.8 and 9 are already party respondents to the petition, the proposed respondent i.e. Surjagarh Iron Ore Mines, Hedri Etapalli, Gadchiroli which is not a legal entity as the same is being operated by respondent No.8, for the time being there is no necessity to grant the prayer made in the application. 2.

That being so, the application stands disposed of. Public Interest Litigation No.20/2023 3.

On 03/05/2023 though notices were ordered, the respective respondents have not filed their reply.

The issue pertains to the road condition in the Gadchiroli district where the respondent Nos.8 and 9 are operating their mine operations which leads to the plying of heavy vehicles resulting in spoiling/worsening the road condition and its alignment. We are also informed that there is increase in number of accidents because of the same.

That being so, as a last chance we direct the respondents to file their reply within a period of two weeks from today as for the last two years replies are not placed on record.

As prayed, Superintendent of Police, Gadchiroli be added as party respondent No.12. Amendment be carried out forthwith. The learned Additional Government Pleader Shri D. P. Thakare waives service of notice for respondent No.12. The said respondent shall also place on record the statistics regarding road accidents in Gadchiroli district area 2019 onwards by the next date of hearing. 7.
