Heard Shri S.G. Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri A.A. Madiwale, learned counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner has already deposited the amount of penalty and his tractor and trolley is also released. 3.

The question is, whether the petitioner is required to pay the amount of Rs.1,40,000/- as certified by the Regional Transport Officer, Amravati, on 02.01.2017 to be the market value of tractor and trolley.

We grant the petitioner leave to make appropriate representation to Respondent No. 1 - Collector in this connection within a period of three weeks from today. Along with the representation the petitioner shall also furnish an undertaking to produce tractor and trolley and to pay to the government its value, if ordered by the Competent authority.

After receipt of such a representation and an undertaking, respondent No. 1 shall decide the representation at the earliest in accordance with law. 6.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
