It is informed that Appeal bearing No. Appeal/2022/Prk.251/J-9 preferred by the petitioner under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (for short, MLR Code) against the order dated 23.03.2022 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Amravati in exercise of powers under the MLR Code is pending with the State Government since last more than one year.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.1-State Government to decide the appeal of the petitioner which is produced at page No.13 of the writ petition, as expeditiously as possible, in any case within a period of six months from the date of appearance of the petitioner before it. For that purpose, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent no.1 on 12.02.2024.

With theses directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
