The Petitioner - an Educational Institute has sought following direction :- "i) To direct the respondents to forthwith consider and admit the petitioner-institute to grants-in-aid facility as is being granted to other similarly circumstanced institute within a time bound period in the interest of justice."

The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the proposal was made by the Petitioner in the year 2007 and Petitioner will make a fresh proposal and a direction be issued to the State to decide the proposal on merits.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader seeks time on the ground that a special counsel is engaged to argue the case. 4.

Considering the limited relief sought by the Petitioner and that we are not entering into the merits of the dispute, we do not deem it necessary to adjourn the hearing of this Petition. The Petition is disposed of recording the contention of the Petitioner that the Petitioner will file a fresh proposal within a period of four weeks. Upon such proposal being submitted, the Respondents will decide the same within a period of twelve weeks purely on its own merit.

We make it clear that we have not commented on merits of the Petitioner's proposal and the State Government will decide the same as per law.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
