This is an appeal challenging the order of conviction of the appellant for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. The Jail Superintendent in his correspondence letter dated 17.12.2021 informed to Additional Director General of Police that the appellant namely Beniram Aadku Tembhurnikar has committed suicide on 27.12.2020 while he was on temporary bail.

The learned counsel appearing for the appellant, upon instructions, has today produced a photo copy of death certificate issued by the Health Department. The death certificate is taken on record and it shall be annexed to the appeal memo.
