Perused the prayer clause, where a direction is sought against the respondent no.1 to decide the appeal pending before it. 2.

The order impugned is passed on 20th November, 2023 by the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati, whereby the petitioner was unseated as Sarpanch.

In the aforesaid backdrop, since the election for the said post, which was occupied by the petitioner was not held, it would be appropriate to direct the appeal of the petitioner may be decided expeditiously and in any case within a period of 12 weeks from today.

The petitioner to appear before the State Government on 14th February, 2024.
