Mrs. Prabhu, learned AGP points out that the petitioner, claiming to be senior-most Assistant Teacher, seeks promotion to the post of Head Master. The management never effected any such promotion and forwarded proposal only for granting approval to ad-hoc arrangement. It, therefore, appears that the management never issued any promotion order to any person. However, in the absence of learned counsel for the petitioner, we are not inclined to decide the writ petition on merits.

Writ Petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. Rule discharged. No order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE *GS.
